3b 10 steps to prevent cancer & prolong remission

  1. Don’t smoke
  2. Eat a ketogenic diet & stay lean.
  3. I limit meat to about 4 oz per day – which equals roughly 52 g of protein.  Perfect for a 66 year old small woman
  4. eat a variety of vegetables (weigh vegetable and count carbs)-with butter, oil & cream sauces
  5. exercise – walk & do some strengthening but not extreme sports
  6. No alcohol if you are doing ketogenic diet
  7. Avoid MSG in all its varieties
  8. Avoid excessive sun to avoid skin cancer- but we can get the Vit D we need from sun – Need legs & arms in sun or 10 minutes 2x times a week in a sunbed
  9. Supplements do not replace good nutrition – foods are superior to vitamins but I take supplements too.
  10. fast intermittently – skip breakfast often- it lowers your insulin and strengthens your mitochondria.  I try not to eat from 7 pm til 9:00 or 9:30 a.m.
